My favorite Norwegian couple visited Istanbul. And for a day or two I was their rookie tour guide showing them around, pointing at yali's and hamam's, making stories up when I realized I had no idea what I was pointing at. Nonetheless, if not for me, they might return for the fresh squeezed orange juice, feraye manti or nargile.
